My interest in writing began as an elementary school teacher where I fell in love with children's picture books. They were amazingly vibrant, eccentric, and often just downright goofy, all of which attracted me.
Today, along with my interest in children's books, especially for the upper elementary and middle grades, I'm also interested in autobiographical fiction, narrative nonfiction, and memoir for adults. To read a brief description of my books, click on one of the links at the top of the page.
