Currently, I'm working on an autobiographical piece entitled Dog Eared: A Year's Romp Through the Self-Publishing World that captures my experience transitioning from a traditional author to an independent author/publisher. While the arc of the book follows my yearlong office-cleaning project, the themes touched upon go way beyond reorganizing my book collection and delve into all aspects of the do-it-yourself, self-publishing world. Over the last few months I've published the first three parts as separate e-books. As I head into the home stretch, I've pulled the e-books as I work on an Advance Reader Copy, which will be available as a digital file and as a paperback. My hope is to garner some pre-pub reviews before the book's official release date in early September.
